Tradition Woven Into Trade
Heritage Africa Threads was born from a simple yet powerful idea: that the incredible craftsmanship, textiles, and artistry of Africa deserve a global stage. Founded in 2015 in Berlin by Amina Diallo, we started as a small bridge between Ghanaian textile makers and German boutique owners.
Today, we are a full-service cultural export and trade support company. We do not just ship products — we build relationships. We work directly with artisans, cooperatives, and small manufacturers across 12 African nations, ensuring every item carries authenticity, fair compensation, and cultural pride.
Our expansion into visa assistance and trade travel was a natural evolution. We realized that many European importers and entrepreneurs wanted to visit Africa themselves — to meet artisans, inspect workshops, and build direct partnerships. So we built the infrastructure to make that journey seamless.

Born in Dakar and raised between Senegal and Germany, Amina founded Heritage Africa Threads with a vision to bridge African craftsmanship with European markets. With over 15 years in international trade, she leads our mission to empower artisans worldwide.

Head of Trade Operations
Kwame oversees all export logistics and trade partnerships across West Africa. His deep knowledge of Ghanaian and Nigerian textile markets ensures our clients receive the finest authentic products with seamless delivery.
